New Beginnings

Starting something new can be intimidating, and sometimes even down right scary. To leave an area of comfort is to give up a sense of security. You have mastered your craft in an area, carved out a place for yourself there and even if it is not what you envisioned yourself doing when you were full of dreams and aspirations. You have proven yourself where you are at and that is safe. Maybe you pursued your dreams, achieved what you set out to do and plateaued because you don't know where to go next. You achieved once and might not know if you can do it again. Maybe you are too late in the game or you have too many missed opportunities. All of these things are things that for me to some degree or another I have experienced. So I am familiar with what is like to stand before goliath, look up and wonder, "How can someone like me ever be able to face something as terrible and terrifying as goliath".
In my journey of growth, I have come to love the power of new beginnings and renewed hope. I have learned that when we change our relationship with our fear and discouragement and allow the information those emotions can tell us to be used to help move us forward rather than hold us back, we tap into our superpowers. Everything around us that may cause us fear or challenge us has been put in our lives for the purpose of strengthening us! Think about it, when you go to the gym, it is the resistance you willingly take on that literally builds you. So to lean into your fears rather than run from them having a willingness to learn what you don't know and get good at something all over again is not only within each of our capabilities to do, but it is the reason we are here in the first place. It is in each of our DNA to be able to grow, improve and become great, over and over and over again.
This mindset for me has created excitement in my life and has made me willing to take healthy risks. Like standing before my goliath with nothing but sling and some stones. I know that as I develop my strengths, I will become empowered to accomplish the great goals and dreams that I have for my life. My fear has become my friend, because it identifies for me where the muscle building line is, or the line where my comfort stops and my growth begins.
Take courage, we were all made for greatness and the strongest asset we have is the control of our minds. #unlock_your_mind_unlock_your_superpower #start_today #new_beginnings
